Supported release surface

Stable support covers active governed releases installed from https://sifr.sh/install on the four targets listed in stable compatibility. Support applies to the exact compiler, sysroot, installer, and VS Code compatibility metadata published for that release. Alpha and beta remain preview channels. rc is not a public channel. Windows standalone installers and package-manager distribution are outside the current support boundary.

Before reporting a problem

Collect the following details:
Include your operating system, architecture, the failing command, and the complete diagnostic. For editor problems, include VS Code extension version 0.2.0, the configured sifr.lsp.path, and the Sifr language-server output. Do not include credentials, private source code, or access tokens.

Release incidents

The release team can withdraw a bad stable version. Withdrawal immediately blocks fresh installs and exact pins while preserving immutable release and incident evidence. Existing users receive a governed rollback or incident-roll-forward instruction; Sifr never silently installs an unapproved version. For installation and update recovery, follow stable troubleshooting.
